After the disappearance of bassist and vocalist Kyle O'roldo, ensuing criminal trial for bandmate and drummer Sarah, and indefinite hiatus for the band, Dublin Boys have recently reunited with replacement bassist, vocalist, and long time collaborator Jenn "Mum" O'roldo.

In our last story on the band prior to their breakup, we covered the then ongoing social media scandal where bassist and vocalist Kyle O'roldo, contrary to the bands new creative "raw" approach of not cooking their food, was seen allegedly intoxicated on apple juice and consuming cooked food in leaked social media photos. Following a string of firey social media posts laden with threats by bandmate and drummer, Sarah O'roldo, Kyle mysteriously went missing during a weekend deep sea fishing trip in Spain.

While a number of fans and journalists following the story believed at the time Kyle was hiding from the historically dangerous and unpredictable Sarah, following the social media comments, many later suspected foul play when Kyle didn't turn up for search parties. Kyle is still missing as of the writing of this article.

The following court case that ensued found Sarah innocent of murder and other charges, but many are still skeptical of the case's verdict. Sarah was represented by Lawyer Johnnie Cochran, who also famously defended in the O.J. Simpson case. Sarah has maintained her declared innocence:

**"Oi didn’t murdher dat yellow, coward twat piece o’ monkey s**te. Oi can’t say Oi never wanted ta, t’ough. Oi can’t say Oi’m surprised someone bate me to it. Ta take all we worked for an’ made as a band, an’ t’row it away for a sirloin steak an’ a coop o’ apple joos… He was never fit ta roll wit’ dis crew."

Commenting about the new lineup and tour, Sarah added, "Anyway, Oi’m just excited for dis new chapter wit’ oul’ mum. She’s a real bad**s. She’s produced two o’ our albums, an’ really understands our vision. Oi know she’s really gonna bring de noise."

The Kyle scandal and disappearance comes as a concern to many fans, as the story is being compared to the previous loss of founding band member, Corey O'Hoover, who died in a car accident under mysterious circumstances after a falling out with Sarah.

New band member, bassist and vocalist, Jenn, commented on the reunion, saying,

**"Oi’m just excited ta be a part o’ dis new chapter in de life of one o’ me favourite bands. Oi’ve worked wit’ de lads over de years on different projects, an’ Oi always understood what dey were tryin’ ta do, even when many in de industry still didn’t. Me goal isn’t ta replace or become Kyle or his style, but simply ta carry de torch an’ honour de legacy of dis band dat pioneered a historical movement in music."**

Tickets for the upcoming reunion tour go on sale later this month, available through ticketmaster.
